Violinkonzert verbindet Formtradition mit südamerikanischem Kolorit. Im Anschluss erklingt Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts g-Moll-Sinfonie Nr. 40. Und in Montevideana Nr. 1 der uruguayischen Komponistin Beatriz Lockart pulsiert der Geist des Río de la Plata.
